South Bend’s Home Repair Program is seeking public input

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The City of South Bend will host three public input meetings during April to get feedback on where the city’s Home Repair Program should dedicate its next round of residential home repairs.

This program is aimed at assisting residents with home repairs that will ensure safe housing conditions for homeowners that are in need of maintenance work.

Community members are welcome to attend any of the three meetings, which will be held:

  • Thursday, April 7 at the Howard Park Event Center, 219 South St. Louis Boulevard., 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Tuesday, April 12 at the Charles Black Community Center, 3419 West Washington Street, 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 14 at Indiana University South Bend, Wienkamp Hall, Room 1135, 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Parking will be available in the parking lot off of 20th Street.

Each session’s presentation will cover the same information, but community members are welcome to attend each session to participate in the public input portions of the meeting.

Anyone unable to attend these meetings can share their input on the City of South Bend’s website.
