South Bend School Corporation aide suspended

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- On Friday the South Bend School Corporation suspended indefinitely without pay Michael Ipsen, a teacher's aide at Dickinson Intermediate Fine Arts Academy.
Upon reviewing Ipsen's true employment history, the School Corporation decided that he misrepresented himself.
Ipsen did receive a criminal background check in September 2010 through a third party. That background check revealed no criminal history.
