SOUTH BEND, Ind.--- South Bend Community School Corporation is hosting a series of talks with the community throughout the month of October. These community listening tours start Saturday at Ivy Tech Community College.
These listening tours will focus on three areas: financial stability, literacy, and empowerment. The events are the third phase of the Cummings Administration gathering information to put together its long term strategic plan.
The first meeting is on Saturday at from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Ivy Tech Community College. Other talks will be on October 15th at John Adams High School and October 22nd at Washington High School, both from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
