South Bend wants public's opinion on cemetery improvements

South Bend has released its master plan to improve the city cemetery that runs along LaPorte Avenue.

Before crews start with plans to plant more trees, add more lighting, and repair surrounding roads and sidewalks, they want to hear from the community.

Booklets that lay out the master plan can be found at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center on Linden Avenue in South Bend and at the St. Joe County Public Library's Main and LaSalle branches.

If you have any comments for the city, email them to [email protected] by May 22.
