South Bend woman sentenced to 11 years for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - A South Bend woman was sentenced to 11 years in prison after pleading guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

After she serves her prison sentence, 43-year-old Frances Bianco will perform four years of supervised release.

Police seized a firearm and over 50 grams (0.11 pounds) of methamphetamine during a traffic stop involving Bianco, according to case documents.

Bianco has three prior felony convictions and was on bond at the time the methamphetamine was found, reports said.
