SOUTH BEND, Ind.--- South Bend City Clerk Kareemah Fowler is hosting a community forum on Sunday from 4 p.m. till 6 p.m. at the Century Center. The forum looks to bring to light and offer solutions for some of the socioeconomic problem South Bend faces.
The forum will bring community members together with city leaders to address disparities in government, education, economics, and public safety that exists in South Bend's minority community. One of the topics that will be focused on is the lack of economic opportunities for the minority community.
In addition to offering residents a forum to voice their concerns, information will be given on how to navigate bureaucracies in government and the legal system. Fowler hopes this forum will channel the anger South Bend's minority community has been feeling into positive outcomes for the community.
