South Shore adds extra trains for travelers this holiday weekend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- We have some information for you if your travel plans take you on the South Shore train this holiday.
On Wednesday, an extra eastbound train out of Chicago to Michigan City was added to get more people moving in the morning.
On Thursday, the train line will run on a holiday schedule. Friday, it returns to its regular weekly schedule.
It will also run an extra eastbound train on Saturday.
