South Shore Line mask requirement extended until May 3

South Shore Line passengers and employees will be required to wear masks in all stations and trains until May 3.

The South Shore Line is following the Transportation Security Administration’s mask order.

Masks are required for all passengers and employees regardless of vaccination status.

The South Shore Line will continue to provide free masks to passengers who need them.

Those who do not comply with the mandate may be removed from trains.

Certain passengers, including those with medical/health issues and children under age 2, are exempt from the mandate per the TSA’s order.
