South Shore Line to bus trains between Carroll Ave. and Gary Metro Center

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. – The South Shore Line will be temporarily busing trains between Carroll Avenue and Gary Metro Center stations on Saturday.

Here are the following trains that will be affected.

Saturday Westbound

• Train 606 (arrives 11:10 a.m. at Millennium Station)
• Train 506 (arrives 2:39 p.m. at Millennium Station)
• Train 608 (arrives 5:23 p.m. at Millennium Station)
• Train 508 (arrives 7:11 p.m. at Millennium Station)

Saturday Eastbound

• Train 503 (departs 8:40 a.m. from Millennium Station)
• Train 603 (departs 10:45 a.m. from Millennium Station)
• Train 605 (departs 12:05 p.m. from Millennium Station)
• Train 505 (departs 1:35 p.m. from Millennium Station)
• Train 507 (departs 4:43 p.m. from Millennium Station)

In addition to this temporary busing, all South Shore Line passengers using Millennium Station will board/detrain at the Metra Depot (Tracks 5 and 6), located northwest of the South Shore platform on Saturday.

During this time, Metra will be working on the South Shore depot. Work is expected to last until later this afternoon.
