South Shore to bus passengers heading to Chicago

If you plan to head to Chicago this week by the South Shore train, you'll be taking two types of transportation to get there.

Starting Monday morning, you'll be bused from South Bend to Michigan City.

The company is upgrading its overhead wiring system.

Busing will continue through Saturday.

If you head to the Windy City for work or to just visit, you'll take the bus to the Michigan City Station, then board the train to Chicago.
