SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Soon, it's going to cost more to ride the South Shore!
The Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District voted to raise fares by 5-percent.
That means a one-way trip from South Bend to Chicago will cost $11.75, a 60-cent increase!
The South Shore will also start charging active military half-price. Their rides used to be free.
The changes take effect Feb. 15.
