South Shore Train service restored Feb.3

ST.JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The South Shore Line has announced train service will be restored Feb.3.

Train service with be restored Feb.3 with westbound Train 600, according to a press release.

As services resume, substitute buses between Michigan City Carrol Avenue and South Bend will no longer be busing passengers.

Services were temporarily suspended Feb.1 and Feb.2 due to extreme cold temperatures and damage to the Metra Electric District caused by a CN freight derailment.
