Special prosecutor appointed for Henry Davis Jr case

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- A special prosecutor has been appointed to handle the case against Henry Davis Jr for his July 19 arrest.
On August 4, the St. Joseph County Prosecutor filed a petition to have a special prosecutor appointed for the case.
Davis has been charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, both misdemeanors.
The court approved the appointment of Robert Szilaygi, the LaPorte County Prosecutor.
Szilaygi appointed Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Mary Lake to represent his office in the case.
The next hearing in this case is scheduled for September 5.
