Special treat for Vietnam veterans in Mishawaka

MISHAWAKA, Ind.-- Vietnam veterans are getting a special treat on Friday.
Mayor Dave Wood has declared March 30 as 'Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day'.
Last year, the resolution was passed by The U.S. Senate.
The Senate encouraged communities to embrace the veterans in their area.
Wood presented a proclamation for the event at The Mishawaka Common Council Chambers, Friday morning.
