SR 331 bridge over Yellow River closing starting August 5

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.—Roadwork is set to begin on August 5 on the S.R. 331 bridge over the Yellow River in Bremen, according to INDOT.

Both sides of the bridge will be closed for a superstructure replacement project.

The bridge is expected to reopen in early November.

Northbound drivers on S.R. 331 will be detoured west on U.S. 6, north on U.S. 31 and then east on U.S. 20 before coming back onto S.R. 331.

Southbound drivers will be detoured west on the U.S. 20 bypass, south on U.S. 31 and east on U.S. 6 before coming back onto S.R. 331.

State road detours must be located on state-maintained roads, according to INDOT.
