St. Joseph Co. Friends of the Library Bookstore to open every Friday

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The Friends of the St. Joseph County Public Library Bookstore is reopening on Friday, March 23.

The bookstore, at 333 S. Michigan Street, had been closed for renovations.

With the reopening, comes new hours as well.

The bookstore will be open to the public every Friday from noon to 6 p.m. and on First Fridays from noon to 8 p.m.

The renovations include a new space for The Music Village, a local non-profit arts agency.

The book sale will be in the northern portion of the building.

The bookstore features withdrawn library materials and donated items, including books, audiobooks, magazines, CDs and DVDs.

Proceeds go to library programs, author visits, early literacy initiatives and community outreach.
