St. Joseph County announces date and locations for DEA Drug Take Back Day
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – St. Joseph County will be participating in the bi-annual DEA Drug Take Back Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
On Saturday October 27th, people can drop off pills and med patches at locations all across the county.
Those dropping off medication can put all the pills together into a zip-lock bag and then recycle the empty pill bottles.
St. Joseph County Police Department, Mishawaka Police Department, the Alcohol & Addictions Resource Center, and the 525 Foundation will be taking part in the event.
The locations for drop-off are below:
Granger - Clay Fire Station #25 12481 Anderson Rd.
Mishawaka - Mishawaka Fire Station 333 E. Douglas Rd.
New Carlisle - New Carlisle Fire Station 204 E. Michigan Ave.
North Liberty- North Liberty Fire Station at 305 S. State St.
South Bend - Clay Fire Station # 21 18776 Cleveland Rd.
