UPDATE:

The server is now back up and running.

Castellon says a sixth server was being installed to house the new GIS system and, in installing the server, DELL accidentally cut the virtual pathways to their own server. 

ORIGINAL STORY:

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- St. Joseph County Assessor Michael Castellon informed ABC57 the St. Joseph County Assessor's Office will be closed until further notice due to technical issues.

Castellon says there are four servers down and the IT department will be working through the night to get their systems up and running.

He added that all the systems are backed up and all information remains protected.

Castellon says they anticipate everything to be functional by Thursday morning.

If the closure is extended, the public will be informed via the St. Joseph County website.
