SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners met to discuss infrastructure improvements--mainly, a bridge construction to add more lanes on Douglas and Ironwood.
The construction on Douglas is almost complete.
The decision, a unanimous 2-0 vote, along with bridge replacements over Bowman Creek, at South Main St. bridge and Carroll St. bridge, will cost over $729,000 using American Rescue Plan funds.
