St. Joseph County health officer to resign

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - St. Joseph County Health Officer Robert Einterz is resigning, officials with the St. Joseph County Department of Health confirmed.

According to officials, the St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners' decision to temporarily halt efforts to create a mental health crisis response center contributed to his decision.

Commissioners announced their decision to halt the project during a meeting on Tuesday morning.
