ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- St. Joseph County Commissioners held a press conference Tuesday to announce the launch of a new app or alert system that notifies residents whenever legislative changes are made that affect local property taxes.
The county says that their current website has a wealth of information, but their engagement portal requires residents to go looking for updated info.
With the new alert system, county residents will have that information emailed to them directly without having to search for it.
County residents can sign up for a number of alerts, from property tax updates to county news, emergency updates and more.
Anyone interested in signing up for alerts can do so here.
