St. Joseph County leaf pickup begins Oct 19

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -

St. Joseph County has announced the schedule for leaf pickup for the unincorporated areas of St. Joseph County.

Work will begin in Penn & Harris Townships on Monday, October 19. Clay Township will be next and the schedule will continue counter-clockwise around the county until complete. (see map)

Updates will be posted every Monday to SJCLP.com.

Leaves must be raked within 5-feet of the road or they will not be picked up because the hoses cannot reach beyond 5-feet.

Do not rake the leaves into the road or they could cause drainage issues.

Piles of leaves will not be collected if they contain bagged leaves, grass clippings, pine needles, trash, pet feces or tree limbs.
