St. Joseph County Police Department now hiring corrections officers

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Police Department is now accepting applications for corrections officers.

Those interested must be 18 years or older to apply and will be subjected to a background check.

Applications require a copy of the applicant's final high school transcript and or college degree, driver's license, birth certificate and social security card.

Starting salary for a corrections officer is $41,661.
