ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Police Department announced just after noon Monday, via Facebook, its custom smartphone application is now available to download.

St. Joseph County Sheriff Bill Redman stated, “Our new app will help enhance our communication with our residents and community. It will provide easy access to upcoming events, traffic or incident alerts, jail inmate look-up, the sex offender registry, and information on upcoming Sheriff Sales.”

Authorities say the app offers quick access to items of public interest including patrol request, submit a tip, sex offenders, jail information, inmate search, join our team, and more.

The St. Joseph County Police Department app is available to download for free in the App Store and Google Play by searching “St. Joseph County Police, IN” or you can download it here.

Police also remind the public the app is not designed to report emergencies.
