ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The St. Joseph County Redevelopment Commission met Tuesday to discuss the New Carlisle, Indiana Enterprise Center project.
The Commission decided to take property option on three properties that sit next to the intersection of State Road 2 and Larrison, three miles away from town limits. This allows the Commission to get site control for a couple of years as they negotiate with prospects.
“We’re excited,” Bill Schalliol, Executive Director of Economic Development, said. “Today’s action was really the culmination of about a year’s worth of work. We’ve got some very cooperative property owners that we’ve been working with.”
The Commissioners did not discuss any tax increases at the meeting.
