St. Joseph County reports 541 COVID-19 cases, 12 deaths

The St. Joseph County Department of Health provided an update on the local COVID-19 case counts and demographics. A total of 541 confirmed cases have been reported to the department.

55% of all cases are among females and 45% are males.

Age breakdown is the following:

Less than 19 years old: 9%

  • 20-29: 14%
  • 30-39: 14%
  • 40-49: 19%
  • 50-59: 13%
  • 60-69: 14%
  • 70-79: 8%
  • 80+: 8%

Demographic data

55% of all cases are among females and 45% are males

51% of cases are in white individuals, 15% are in African Americans, 31% Hispanic, and 3% identify as other.
