ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Republican Party is hitting the ground running this election season.
Local Republicans are speaking face to face with as many voters as possible, before this November's elections.
Commissioner Derek Dieter is taking on the ambitious goal of door knocking at all 224 precincts in St. Joseph County within the next 100 days.
Newly elected county GOP Chair Jackie Horvath and Vice Chair Joe Layne say they are supporting Dieter's run for county surveyor.
They also say that they want everyone to exercise their right to vote this election cycle.
The deadline to register to vote in Indiana is Monday, October 7.
