St. Joseph County Sheriff sentenced to probation for OWI

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. - St. Joseph County Sheriff Mark Lillywhite will serve 12 months of probation after allegedly driving drunk in February. 

He was charged with operating while intoxicated and carrying a weapon while intoxicated for the February 26 crash.

Lillywhite was sentenced to 12 months of probation for both charges but they will be served concurrently.

He will still be allowed to be a police officer but can't carry a weapon while on probation.
