St. Joseph man accused of downloading child pornography

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- A St. Joseph resident has been charged with possession of child sexually abusive material, according to Michigan State Police.

Alexander Paul Ticknor Rendell, 36, was suspected of downloading a large amount of child sexually abusive material.

A search warrant was obtained and police and the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office assisted in serving the warrant at Rendell’s residence, police said.

Digital evidence was seized during the search, police said.

Rendell was arrested on a charge of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material on January 29.
