St. Joseph's High School hockey team to face-off at Indy championships

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- St. Joseph's High School in South Bend gave its hockey team a warm send-off.

The team marched onto the gym floor as drummers pumped up their classmates.

The hockey team is playing in the State Championship this weekend in Indianapolis.

The team has gone the last three years and lost.

Parents said that this year will be different.

"Hockey is a great sport it is so exciting, it is so fast paced, and to have your kids participate in the championship is just awesome!" said Mary Potter, a proud parent.

The team plays Sunday at 11 a.m.

Parents said to make sure that the team is prepared, this year, they are going down the night before.
