SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The St. Vincent de Paul Society received $25,000 towards its Sweet Dreams Ministry on Thursday.
Sweet Dreams Ministry was a winner in the State Farm Neighborhood Assist Program, which empowers communities to identify problems in their neighborhoods and address them with grants.
The ministry provides children in the community with bedroom necessities such as mattresses, blankets and pillows.
The grant will help hundreds of youth in the community have a safe place to sleep at night.
