Stabbing on 1100 block of Sherman Ave.

Police are responding to reports of a stabbing in the 1100 block of Sherman Avenue on South Bend's northwest side. According to the South Bend Police Department, a male has been stabbed in the chest. A woman who called police says she heard a man crying out for help while she was walking home around 10 p.m. Tuesday night.
Right now police have not said if they have arrested anyone in connection to the stabbing.
