STARKE COUNTY, Ind.-- Jack Rosa Jr has won the Starke County Sheriff's race with 54% of the vote.

Rosa defeated Democrat Kelly Fisher and Independent Dennis Fornelli.

He will take over for Sheriff Bill Dulin who did not run.

Kelly Fisher (Democrat)

Won the primary election over Bracke Rowe, Robert Olejniczak and Harold Smith

Jack Rosa (Republican)

Won the primary election over Gregory Wireman
Spent 35 years in law enforcement, according to his campaign Facebook page.

Dennis Fornelli (Independent)

Running as an independent for sheriff
