Happy New Year! We are starting 2024 cloudy and cool with a few scattered lake effect snow showers.
Snow showers fall mainly through LaPorte County this morning, but as the wind changes directions later today, snow showers will shift a bit more to the east, so other counties could see a few showers or flurries. Snow should have minimal impact today with no accumulation expected.

With clearer skies tonight, temperatures will fall into the mid 20s.
Tuesday starts with some sunshine, but clouds form again through the day. It should stay dry with highs in the upper 30s.
Wednesday is cloudy with a chance for a few snow showers late in the day, which continue Wednesday night.
We should dry out Thursday with temperatures cooler in the low 30s.
Friday and Saturday are mainly dry, but another round of snow is possible Saturday night into Sunday.
