State of Indiana releases school grades
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The Indiana Department of Education has released school grades for all schools in the state.
Schools are given a letter grade based on student performance.
Elementary and middle school grades are based on how the students perform on standardized tests in English/language arts and math.
High schools are graded on English, algebra, the school's graduation rate and their students' college and career readiness.
In northern Indiana, 91 schools received an A, 57 received a B, 40 received a C, 30 received a D and 11 received an F.

- Elston Middle School
- Greene Intermediate Center
- Madison Primary Center
- Marshall Intermediate Center
- Navarre Intermediate Center
- Nuner Primary Center
- Career Academy at South Bend
- Knox Community Middle School
