State troopers lead drug arrest in Miami County
MIAMI COUNTY, Ind. -- According to the Indiana State Police, 25-year-old Peru resident, Joshua Coman, was arrested by state troopers Thursday night for several drug-related criminal charges.
Senior Trooper, Andrew Baldwin, led a team of troopers to serve Coman with a warrant of arrest at his residence in Miami County.
Coman already had a warrant active in Fulton County for theft.
Inside, the team located Coman and reportedly found evidence of illegal drug use.
Officers allegedly found methamphetamine, heroin, marijuana, a syringe and other items of drug paraphernalia.
Coman faces counts of possession of a narcotic drug, possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin, possession of syringe, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
28-year-old Shily Sloan, a resident who was living with Coman, was also issued a summons for the possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
Coman is currently incarcerated in Miami County Jail.
