UPDATE: Missing South Bend man found at local homeless shelter after someone sees his photo on the news

NOON UPDATE: As of noon on Friday, the Indiana State Police say the Silver Alert for Kenneth Johnson has been cancelled.
The SJCPD says a local person saw Johnson's photo on the news are communicated with authorities that he was at the local homeless shelter.
He has since been returned to family.
8:30 a.m. ORIGINAL: SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Police Department announced a Silver Alert has been declared for 63-year-old Kenneth Johnson of South Bend.
Johnson is described as a white male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 138 pounds, brown hair with brown eyes, last seen wearing a blue hat, grey sweatshirt, blue jeans, tennis shoes, and carrying a silver cane.
Johnson was last seen on Thursday at 1:40 pm.
He is believed to be in danger and may require medical assistance.
