The heat hits another gear for the rest of the holiday weekend. Highs will reach the upper 80s on Saturday and low 90s on Sunday. Labor Day Monday could be the hottest day of the forecast, with highs in the middle 90s. We should squeeze out another 90-degree day on Tuesday before a cold front moves through. Some showers and thunderstorms are possible Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. After the cold front, highs will stay in the 80s.
