Summer is not over, heat and humidity return this weekend. The forecast is warm and sunny, highs in the 80, nearing 90 by Sunday with increasing humidity. The heat index is unlikely to be extreme, but it will be warm enough that air conditioning will be preferred over open windows. Most days over the next 10 will be warmer than 80 degrees.
