Stores shuffle in, out of Niles Main Street space

NILES, Mich. -- Along Main Street in Niles, several store fronts have been closing over the past few months.

But as quickly as they have been going, new ones have been opening up shop.

ABC57 News went inside Niles Styles, it's been around for about three years and we peeked inside one of the newer shops, Olfactory Hue Bistro.

The owners tell us it's a challenge, but they're up for it.

"Some days are really good and some days are really tough to see the traffic just whizzing by, whizzing by,” said Niles Styles owner Christine Hoffman.

"I think that's just business, people come and go and there's fads in and out," said Olfactory Hue Bistro owner Daysha Amster.

There are quite a few events planned for Main Street in Niles. There will be some outside sales this weekend for the holiday and even a women's expo next month which will close off a portion of the street and give away deals as empowerment for women.
