Cold and rainy weather arrives
Tonight will be clear and quiet as we head into the work week. Tomorrow afternoon will be mostly sunny and humid with high temperatures pushing into the upper 80s to lower 90s. The heat and humidity, mixed with an approaching cold front will help spark a few evening showers and thunderstorms. A few of those thunderstorms could be on the strong to severe side. The severe potential will remain into the early morning Tuesday. The two main threats will be quarter sized hail and 60mph wind gusts. Storm activity will move out heading into Tuesday, then it’s back to the sunshine by Tuesday afternoon. High temperatures will fall back into the low to mid 80s through the rest of the week. Another round of showers and thunderstorms are possible Friday night and Saturday. The following work week looks to be a lot warmer with 90s rounding out the 10-day forecast.
Tonight: Clear. Low 62.
Tomorrow: Mostly sunny/PM Thunderstorms. High 90.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy/mostly sunny. High 82.
Wednesday: Sunny. High 81.
