Warming up this weekend before more storms next week
Clouds increase as we head throughout today with very warm and muggy conditions. Scattered showers and storms move in this afternoon and could be strong to severe. The greatest threats are heavy rain and strong winds.
There is another chance of rain on Wednesday, otherwise there will be intermittent times of sunshine. After the cold front passes, temperatures fall into the middle 70s Thursday through Saturday. A nice stretch of sunshine accompanies it.
Today: Increasing clouds, scattered storms in the afternoon, high of 86.
Tonight: Shower possible early, mostly to partly cloudy, low of 70.
Wednesday: Partly to mostly cloudy, chance of showers, high of 80.
Thursday: Slight chance of AM showers then clearing skies, high of 74.
