Rain will push into Michiana just after sunset on Sunday, starting off as light showers until midnight and developing into heavier rain early Monday morning. Alongside the heavy rain will be some thunderstorms, although the likelihood they turn severe is low. Rain will clear out by Sunday afternoon, leaving Michiana mostly cloudy in the late afternoon and early evening hours as temperatures climb into the high 70s. More rain and non-severe storms will move in overnight into early Monday morning, although these will diminish into showers that will linger the rest of Monday, cooling temperatures at the surface into the low 70s for the high that day. Monday night's temperatures will drop into the mid-50s as showers and thunderstorms continue to keep the air cooled near the surface overnight. Tuesday will be quiet and mostly cloudy but will also be the coolest day of the week as high temperatures bottom out in the low 70s.
