More snow this morning, but a brief break heading into Wednesday
Thunderstorms have returned to Michiana with active weather taking over much on today's forecast. A line of storms moves through the region this morning, bringing lightning, downpours, and gusty winds. Although we're already off to a stormy start, this afternoon and evening look to bring the greatest impacts and the highest likelihood for severe weather. After the strongest line of storms moves through early this morning, many will see steady rain throughout the late morning. The middle of the day is a bit more uncertain, some could see a break from the rain while others could continue to see a few showers with isolated thunderstorms. Later in the day, during the late afternoon and early evening, thunderstorm activity picks back up with storms firing up over Michiana. Depending on how quickly these storms strengthen, we could see more or less severe impacts (mainly further east) with the most likely hazards being strong winds and hail, although isolated tornadoes are not out of the question. The severe threat looks to be gone by 8PM, showers linger overnight and into tomorrow.
Today: Scattered thunderstorms. High 86.
Tonight: Showers. Low 64.
Monday: Showers. High 73.
Tuesday: Few AM showers, then mostly cloudy. High 69.
