MISHAWAKA, Ind. - Strikes & Spares Entertainment Center in Mishawaka has donated $3,000 worth of food to the YWCA North Central Indiana and is currently donating a portion of every gift card sale to the Food Bank of Northern Indiana.
Even though Strikes & Spares is closed right now due to the pandemic, they wanted to use this time as an opportunity to find ways that they can help give back to the community that has been supporting them.
The YWCA North Central Indiana provides safe places for women and children, and provides economic empowerment programs, residential and non-residential services for women who are victims of domestic violence, sexual assault or struggling with chemical dependencies.
They are grateful for the donation by Strikes & Spares and they plan to use it to feed the women and children in the YWCA.
The Food Bank of Northern Indiana will also receive a portion of every gift card sale that Strikes & Spares makes.
