A strong fall storm moves through the Great Lakes Thursday bringing rain, a sharp rise in temperatures and wind. Wind gusts Thursday likely top 40 mph, peaking midday and lasting through the afternoon. Rain will be widespread midday, then scattered through evening ahead of a cold front. Temperatures drop into Friday and stay in the 40s through the weekend. The weekend is fair and quiet with a mix of sun and clouds.
