A line of strong thunderstorms is likely tonight after 10:00 PM. The line will likely arrive in the South Bend area close to 11:00 PM EDT. If you live west of South Bend, the timeframe is earlier, east it's later. Damaging wind gusts in excess of 70 mph is the primary danger, this can knock over large trees. Flash flooding is also a threat, as the already waterlogged region, could get another two to three inches of rain. Power outages are likely, so make sure you phone in charged and you're able to get important weather alerts.
The rest of the week is milder and fair. There is a slight chance of showers developing near Warsaw Tuesday afternoon, but that's more likely to be east of the area. The forecast is otherwise pleasant and the humidity and temperatures drop.
Tonight: Strong thunderstorms. Low 70.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy. High 82.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny. High 78.
Thursday: Sunny. High 76.
