One year later, many still reliving Colon tornado
Today will start off mostly sunny but clouds will start to increase during the late morning hours. Thunderstorms are expected to start firing up during the early afternoon and move into Michiana by 3 PM. Some of these storms could be strong to severe as a squall line develops over the southeastern portion of Michiana. This area has the highest chance of seeing severe weather. Main concerns are strong winds and hail, but a tornado or two can’t be completely ruled out.
Storms/showers should move through and wrap up before 10 or 11 PM. We’ll get a break from the wet weather tomorrow as highs cool to the 70-degree mark, but more shower chances continue for Wednesday and Thursday.
Monday: Mostly sunny early, then increasing clouds and afternoon storms. Breezy. Some could be strong/severe. High of 85.
Tonight: Storms ending before 11 PM. Mostly cloudy afterwards. Low of 56.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny. High of 70.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with showers possible. Highs in the mid 60s.
