Two rounds of storms are likely today. The first will be sometime in the mid-late afternoon (the latest timing is around 4-6 PM). Gusty winds and small hail are possible in this round, along with heavy rain. If storms are able to stay isolated, then a tornado or two would be possible as well.
There is growing concern for a second round of storms later tonight. Arrival time for this round would be around 10 PM and storms would continue overnight. The primary threat here would be heavy rain and localized flooding, but if storms are able to stay isolated, then all hazards (including a tornado or two) would be possible.
More severe storms are possible on Monday and Tuesday, but there's considerable doubt as to what these rounds would look like, given how dependent they would be on today's storms. At this point, late night storms appear possible on both Monday night into Tuesday and Tuesday night into Wednesday before we dry out by Wednesday night.
