SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Beer lovers get ready — Studebaker inspired beers will soon be on tap.
Studebaker Brewery will be opening Monday Oct. 22 at 11:30 a.m. in the historic Studebaker Mansion.
A sampling party held Wednesday gave attendees a taste of five different hand-crafted brews including a chocolate rye stout, a cream ale and an I.P.A.
Header brewer, Brandon Townsley, said, “This helps me stretch my wings out a little bit.” He adds, “We’re hoping the brewery will bring an extra level of enthusiasm and people will come in and be like this house has been here for how long? It’s a historic site?”
